What Makes the Enneagram Unique?

The Enneagram is unique from other assessments in that it measures your core internal motivation, rather than external behavior, as most other assessments do.  More specifically, the Enneagram teaches that every person is motivated by one of nine core motivations (hence the nine Enneagram numbers) we have used since we were kids.  Most people are only partially conscious of their core motivation, if at all.

By awakening to your core motivation and its implications for leadership, you “wake up” to the ways in which you have been on autopilot – seeing only part of the picture.  You realize new strengths that can be fully leveraged for success, as well as blind spots that can block your development and even derail your career.
